0716 Deserves a Name and a Home

"0716" is an adult female yellow Labrador Retriever.

This friendly girl was picked up as a stray. She was not wearing a collar or identification. No one has called to report her missing.

She is scheduled for euthanasia at 1 p.m. on Wed., Jan 16th .

Please call if you are interested in giving her a second chance in your home. Her adoption fee is $60 CASH which includes her spay, rabies vaccine, duramune vaccine, and her Ohio dog license, which will be honored anywhere in the state of Ohio through the end of 2007.

"0716" looks like a happy yellow lab that would make a perfect pet for a great family. Couldn't you just see her fetching tennis balls and swimming in the lake?

Look at that face - she looks so sweet. I'm going to email Lil Paws Rescue in Jackson City Oh to let them know about her.

Thank the good Lord that she found a home. I am from India. And I don't know whether it is possible for me to adopt any animals from the shelter. We've always had a dog at home. We also believe in adopting Indian dogs (or street dogs as they are known here). Right now I have one really naughty dog at home and her name's Phoebe. Yes, i've named her after my favorite character on Friends. When we adopted her, we were looking for a name. We almost gave up and named her Tuffy, when finally the name Phoebe came along. I thank you for this wonderful blog. And I wish you all the best, if not anything else but I will surely show my support by spreading the word and visiting your blog regularly. My friend Anindita has started a similar blog for the dogs in her locality (please do not take this as some sort of marketing gimmik). The URL is http://paws-world.blogspot.com/. If you have time please do check it out.
